Yoga Nidra


Nidra literally means “sleep”.
 
Yoga Nidra is an ancient and life-changing approach to complete relaxation.  It comes from the tradition of Tantra.  Unlike other sitting meditation techniques, you rest on your back.
 
Various techniques are used to guide you into a deep state of relaxation and complete effortlessness, to awaken to your highest potential.
 
Using a systematic approach, we can enter the Theta brain rhythm. 
Neuroscientists recognise the Theta brain wave as the border between the conscious and the subconscious mind, the barely conscious state experienced just before sleeping and just after waking. 
 
By learning to use a conscious, waking Theta brain wave we can access and influence the powerful subconscious part of ourselves that is normally inaccessible to our waking minds and which is the driving force which determines our behaviour. While in the Theta state, the mind is capable of deep and profound learning, healing, and growth - enabling us to manifest positive changes in our waking life.
